Valette Ensemble is an up-and-coming flexible chamber ensemble based in Manchester that aims to break the boundaries of what classical music means. By combining old and new, the group hopes to connect with audiences through non-traditional venues & collaborations with today’s artists, musicians & composers.
Since forming in February 2022, the group have performed extensively across Manchester, in addition to featuring collaboratively with other artists in the area. Recent highlights include performing at Gabriella Smith’s Carrot Revolution at Wigmore Hall, their premiere of Haodong Wang’s Through Frail Shadows for String Quartet & Fixed Media, and their sell-out concert PROLOGUE, featuring saxophonist Frederic Donlon-Mansbridge.
